Purpose:
Northern Beaches Cricket Club (NBCC, aka "The Barra's") is a community sports club supporting children, youth and adult / family engagement in active sport in the Mt Low and surrounding residential area; an accelerated residential growth hub within the Herbert electorate during the last 3-5 years. NBCC promotes the development of the Kilcora cricket facility for girls & boys as well as all other complimentary recreational users. Our 6.6kW PV system, replacing 2~4 tonne of CO2 per annum, is a cornerstone to reduce our community power bills, and enabling wider & more regular use of the playing fields to additional community users.
