A 6kW Enphase battery, in addition to existing 10kW for the Headers
Purpose:
The Nimbin Headers Sports Club will purchase and install a 6kW of battery storage system which will store clean electricity and help reduce the club s power bills. It will alleviate the demand on the national electricity grid as the club will be mostly self-sufficient for its energy needs. Our existing 10 kW PV system provide around 14600 kWh of electricity every year, saving around five tonnes of CO2 annually and is a proud achievement for our environmentally conscious community. The addition of battery will help us store the energy produce during the day to power our fridges, freezers, our match lights and all appliances used after dusk.
