A 400 litre solar hot water system for the Moreton Fishing Club Inc.
Purpose:
The Moreton Fishing Club Inc. will purchase and install a 400 litre solar hot water system which will have lasting benefits to both the environment and the members of our association. A substantial reduction in our greenhouse gas emissions will result from using the energy of the sun instead of transporting and burning LPG. The direct financial and safety benefits of not having to transport empty gas cylinders to the mainland, purchasing LPG and returning the cylinders to the island for the purpose of heating water will flow on to all members, freeing up funds for amenities upgrades and equipment purchases and reduce the dangers of LPG transportation.
