A 20kW PV System for the Springwood and District Boys and Girls Club
Purpose:
The Springwood and District Boys and Girls Club will purchase and install a 20kW solar PV system which will generate clean electricity and help reduce the Club s power bills. It will alleviate the demand on the national electricity grid. Installing a 20 kW system would provide around 29,232 kWh of electricity every year. This is likely save around 25 tonnes of CO2 annually and this would be a proud achievement for our environmentally conscious Club and community. The significant reduction in power bills will free up additional funds to go into new gymnastics equipment and other facility upgrades.
