Purpose:
Cecil Andrews College 15 year 8–12 students train and prepare all year for travel to compete in the international FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) South Pacic Regional tournament. Students learn business management, STEM and 21st Century Skills. Students design, build and code a 50kg industrial–scale robot to compete in sport based challenges in 3v3 matches culminating in awards judging and championship. Teams seek an invitation to the FIRST Robotics World Championships in the US representing Australia.
