Purpose:
Wickham Primary School P&C Association Incorporated will be sending the Robocup Rescue team of students from Wickham Primary School to compete in the National Robocup Competition in Melbourne, Victoria. The competition requires students to work collaboratively in a group to program a robot to perform a dance routine and follow a set of lines to rescue a victim. The ultimate goal of RoboCup is that by the middle of the 21st Century, a team of fully autonomous humanoid robot soccer players shall play (and win!) a soccer game against the (human) wold champions.
