Purpose:
This project is for the Territory-wide Aerodrome Reseal Program and will reseal and re-linemark the existing sealed runways for four aerodromes servicing very remote Aboriginal communities across the Central Australia (Alice Springs), Roper Gulf and Barkly regions:
- Alpurrurulam/Lake Nash Aerodrome reseal and re-line mark of runway, taxiway and apron and reconstruct runway strips
- Delara/Bulman Weemol Aerodrome reseal and re-line mark runway
- Willowra Aerodrome - reseal and re-line mark runway. The upgrades will improve the safety of the runway surface for pilots and passengers, reduce the risk of damage to aircraft, prolong the serviceability of the aerodromes and enable services to communities to continue.
