Purpose:
This project is for the Territory wide Resheet Program and will include gravel resheeting and pavement reshaping; reconstructing the runway strips for two aerodromes servicing very remote Aboriginal communities across the Central Australia (Alice Springs) region. The project will enhance pilot and passenger safety and enable the Mount Liebig and Hermannsburg Aerodromes to operate with improved safety under a wider range of weather conditions.
