Purpose:
The Peel Youth Services project Envision Your Future (EVYF) is a strategically designed model to support clients on Jobactive programs to identify psycho–social developmental blocks and to master steps necessary to overcome difficulties identifying and engaging in viable occupational paths. Combining a solution focused approach with schema informed theory and resilience informed theory, this model addresses the default solution and default problem patterns held by participants based on their experiences.
The project will deliver an individualised program for 30 participants that will combine weekly 5 hour group sessions and two hours one on one mentoring over a period of 6 weeks. Each intake will have a maximum of 10 participants and will be run for participants living in Mandurah, Serpentine–Jarrahdale and Pinjarra.
