Purpose:

Solaris Nutraceuticals Pty Ltd plans to build a cannabis cultivation, production & manufacturing facility. Once the entire project is licensed and completed, it will be one of the largest growing operations in the world and the largest in the southern hemisphere. This is a first-of-its-kind partnership where a municipality - Ballina, has partnered with a cannabis company to build a major production facility. The agreement is unique and Solaris Nutraceuticals anticipates this will have a significant impact on the local economy by directly employing 220 plus people in the area and indirectly a multiple of 220. The project will also potentially open new domestic and international markets.
