Purpose:
Smartphone Media and StoryBOX at Umee Live 2019 will provide community members with the opportunity to learn, practice and produce short media pieces on their smartphone. Through a series of workshops with mentors and an interactive stall at the Umee Live festival community members and festival attendees will have the opportunity to record their story, make a short film and gain the skills to produce the best quality still photography on their own smartphones. Creating these stories and sharing them through online platforms will promote the region and the themes of the festival - Aboriginal media.
