Purpose:
Kimberley Park State School is sending six students to participate in the National Robocup Competition in Melbourne in October. The students qualified in first to third places at the Queensland State Robocup Competition and would like the opportunity to compete at the next level. The Robocup competition is designed to encourage young people to take an interest in scientific and technological fields, to cultivate their interest through robotic competitions that fosters problem solving and creative skills.This is a STEM focused competition.
