Improved cardiovascular Disease hEALth service delivery in Australia (IDEAL Partnership)
Purpose:
This partnership program aims to refine, implement and evaluate the clinical value of a new health service to measure absolute cardiovascular disease risk within Tasmanian state-wide pathology services. The new service is expected to improve cardiovascular disease outcomes, reduce health care costs and improve doctor and patient experiences. Importantly, the service model is also transferable to other national and international settings.
