FirstCPR: Improving health outcomes for people suffering out of hospital cardiac arrest
Purpose:
This project aims to address the problem of how to improve outcomes for patients that suffer an out of hospital cardiac arrest. Globally fewer than 10 percent of people that suffer an out of hospital cardiac arrest survive to leave hospital. A rapid response by a community bystander can improve health outcomes, but many community members report feeling a lack of knowledge and confidence if confronted with a cardiac arrest.
