Purpose:
With unhealthy eating now a top risk factor for poor health and mortality, there is a need to develop innovative approaches to improve diets. Personalised nutrition is the provision of dietary advice tailored on the basis of a person’s characteristics. This proposal will 1) develop healthy eating approaches that consider how biological, behavioural and environmental characteristics interact to impact on diet and health outcomes and 2) develop personalised advice based on these characteristics.
