Purpose:
My Investigator Fellowship will address the hypothesis that therapeutic modification of the interactions between the cells of the tumour microenvironment and the cancer cells will improve the efficacy of current and future immune cell-based anti-tumour treatment strategies. I will continue to molecularly identify the underlying mechanisms and use them to develop novel anti-cancer therapies.
