Implementation of an online service delivery model for a social communication skills training intervention for adults with traumatic brain injury and their caregivers
Purpose:
Communication disorders following traumatic brain injury (TBI) persistently damage the lives of people with TBI and their caregivers. Access to care is burdensome for patients, families and services. This research aims to address this issue with a digital health solution that makes a proven communication skills intervention available online worldwide and connects people with TBI to their peers. It uses best evidence, theory, and the input of patients, families and services to make this possible.
