The Kincora Gas Acceleration Project
Purpose:
Armour Energy recommissioned the Kincora Gas Plant (KGP) at the end of December 2017. The Gas Acceleration Program will enable Armour to accelerate development of its Kincora reserves by accelerating the delivery of a further 3 production wells in the 2018 campaign. This acceleration will immediately produce an additional 2.6PJ over the first 12 months, delivering an additional 6.9PJ of gas in the GAP program horizon (by 30 June 2020) and an additional 14 PJ of gas over the life of the accelerated wells. All gas produced by Armour is injected directly into the Roma Brisbane Pipeline (RBP) to service the domestic gas market, en route to and in Brisbane, the Gold Coast and potentially further afield in southern Queensland.
