Junior Young Physicists' Tournament 2019
Purpose:
Five students will travel to Wellington, NZ to participate in the Junior Young Physicist Tournament. This tournament allows students to extend their understanding of a range of physics concept through the in–depth investigation of complex phenomena. At the tournament, students will present their problem solutions and engage in rigorous scientific debate with their peers from different schools/countries to defend their findings. The success and credibility of science are anchored in the willingness of scientists to work in a climate of uncertainty, collaborate with others, and subject their work to critical review; these are all aspects that students experience through participation in this tournament.
