Junior Engineers (JE)
Purpose:
Junior Engineers (JE) will establish a Females in STEM Program aimed at acquiring, engaging and educating females in grades 1–10 in order to set them up for a future career in technology or tech–related fields. The JE's will develop the curriculum to be implemented into both primary and secondary schools. Beginning in Queensland the program will be marketed nationally with the aim of reaching 150,000 students. The program will cover coding, robotics and digital technologies. The JE will also run a version of the curriculum in school holiday programs.
