Grant Activity:
RNA modifications in space and time: How do they govern fear extinction?
Purpose:
We will explore how chemical changes to RNA molecules dictate where and when they become functional inside specific compartments of the neuron. We will then link these change functional changes with how the brain operates in real time, how it changes with experience and how this relates to a form of learning and memory that is critically involved in controlling fear-related learning and memory.
