Implementing a precision public health approach to eliminate sexually transmitted infections and control HIV in remote Australia
Purpose:
This study proposes a precision public health approach to eliminate STIs in far north Queensland. Our multi-disciplinary team will work generate evidence in the areas of population health, health services research and genomics, which will then be synthesized to inform precise targeted interventions to control STIs in the region. A community coalition will be established to oversee and lead this research process. We hope to be the first group globally to achieve elimination of STIs.
