Purpose:

The Shepparton Truck and Transport Museum and Events Hub will showcase the Goulburn Valley's rich history and heritage centred on trucking, transport and agriculture. Visitors will be engaged through interactive multimedia and fixed displays along with curated exhibitions depicting the settlement, growth and establishment of the Goulburn Valley as a major national transport hub and position as one of the Nation's leading food bowls. This project builds on the success of the Shepparton Motor Museum and Collectibles which has been founded and built by the community in partnership with the private sector. The dedicated Museum and outdoor covered events space will bolster the region s cultural tourism offering along with events capability.
