Purpose:

The City of Monash i–Sense Oakleigh: The Smart Connected Precinct project aims to design and build a smart connected precinct that enables the collection of big data and the development of applications and services to improve user experiences, liveability and sustainability. The project will work closely with end users to design, prototype, trial and refine a range of connected, smart precinct solutions to enhance the citizen well–being, local businesses and council services. These will start with smart traffic and parking monitoring and management, and flow onto other services such as smart street lighting, on–demand mobility and a suitable ecosystem for future connected and autonomous vehicles.
