Purpose:
The alarming decline in the effectiveness of antimicrobials, like antibiotics, threatens the viability of essential medical treatment. To tackle this threat, it is vital we reduce inappropriate use of antimicrobials. This Fellowship provides critical new evidence for clinicians and policymakers on the best way to combine different interventions into a cohesive and responsive regulatory system that will reduce inappropriate use of antimicrobials in the Australian primary care setting.
