Purpose:
The Oaklands Smart Precinct proposal provides a unique opportunity to use technology, collaboration and community and business leadership to transform the community and city directly within the Oaklands Precinct development, across neighbouring areas, and develop a scalable, replicable precinct model for application across the Southern Adelaide region. The platform for the project s success is the leadership, expertise and advocacy of the Smart South consortium, an Australian–first Smart Cities initiative being developed across multiple levels of government, industry, and the research and education sectors.
