Purpose:
Ocean Road Primary School is taking 21 Young Einsteins (STEM extension students) to the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research in Nedlands. Students have been learning about Biomedic Engineering in their Science Extension program. They will have the opportunity to apply this knowledge in a workshop that will enable them to understand how technology and engineering have allowed medical scientists to venture into the human body. This unique experience is purposely built around a STEM career pathway. The event covers Science, Technology and Engineering.
