Women in STEM National Awareness Raising Initiative
Purpose:
The project will raise awareness of STEM careers and increase the visibility of girls and women in STEM studies and professions. Through a targeted campaign across digital media platforms, it will address public perceptions of what a career in STEM involves and reduce stereotypes and gender bias around STEM study and careers. This project will complement other upcoming initiatives such as the Girls in STEM toolkit. The implementation of the initiative will also involve forming partnerships with high profile STEM organisations, through the Women in STEM Ambassador's networks, to facilitate creation of authentic content and enhance the reach of the initiative.
