The Wangaratta Aquatic Plan for the Future.
Purpose:
The Wangaratta Aquatic Plan will achieve the strategic consolidation and redevelopment of aquatic facilities within the Rural City of Wangaratta. The project will develop major outdoor aquatic facilities within the city's premier recreational precinct including an indoor hydrotherapy pool, outdoor 50m pool, splash play area and toddlers pool, enabling a significant increase in recreational and competitive aquatic activity. The project will drive an increase in local investment and event attraction; stimulate growth in the health and recreation industry; achieve financial and environmentally sustainable operational model; and address the long term health and well-being needs of the community.
