Purpose:
The Pathways Into the Townsville Regional Employment Opportunities (PITREO) project will focus on forty five (45) Townsville district jobseekers requiring customised pre–employment support measures to enhance their potential, to be placed and retained in employment. In the first instance these jobseekers will be referred to the program via the participating employment services providers. Entry level and/or semi–skilled positions will constitute a majority of the vacancy cohort, however PITREO management will prioritise positions which may articulate into traineeship and apprenticeship opportunities.
