Purpose:
Westside Corporation is a majority owner and operator of the Harcourt Joint Venture with gas reserves in excess of 600 PJ (2P). Westside will accelerate the development of gas reserves for the domestic market by drilling 8 additional equivalent single lateral wells during 2019 and 2 additional equivalent single lateral wells during the first half of 2020. Westside estimates that these wells will collectively produce 1.7 PJ by June 2020 and 12 PJ over their economic life. The Gas Acceleration Program funding has helped to bring forward these wells, which would otherwise have been drilled in 2021+. Gas produced will be sold to the domestic market under master sales agreements and through the Wallumbilla Gas Trading Hub.
