Purpose:
The BrIMPACT project is an inclusive employment and social procurement initiative that seeks to create employment opportunities for Brimbank's local young people that are facing additional barriers to employment. The project will engage local employers including Brimbank Council to improve their social procurement and inclusive employment practices, through the meaningful participation of local young people who will be designing youth facing attraction and retention tools.
Through direct engagement of young people the BrIMPACT project aims to shift the focus from the traditional approach of integrating young people into the job market, to include a broader range of approaches including addressing cultural, structural and market constraints.
