Purpose:
The Driving Towards Employment project is intended to assist up to 50 unemployed people over the age of 21 living in the Latrobe Valley region, who face barriers to accessing training, further education or gaining employment due to not having or being able to afford a drivers licence.
The project aims to assist participants to obtain their provisional drivers licences, increasing access to local employment, training and further education opportunities as well as increased employability, community connectedness and wellbeing. The project also aims to assist at least 25 participants to achieve successful transition into sustainable education, training or employment.
