Purpose:
Students from Atwell College are participating in the Subs in Schools competition as part of their Year 10 robotics course. This will give students skills in designing, engineering, problem solving, group work and communication. The Subs in Schools program was chosen for our students as it gives them the opportunity to participate in an engaging group work project and encourages them to make contacts with local industry to help complete their task. We are focused on building our STEM programs within the College and have found that students are keen to engage in STEM subjects which have a competitive element.
