Grant Activity:
Structural insights into the function and antigenicity of the flavivirus NS1 protein.
Purpose:
Our goal in this proposal is to rationally guide the generation of human antibodies with therapeutic potential for both dengue and Zika virus infections. The project will provide a comprehensive structural and functional analysis of the secreted form of the dengue and Zika virus NS1 (sNS1) proteins in complex with a panel of anti-NS1 antibodies to reveal the molecular details of key protective and cross-reactive sites within NS1.
