An investigation into aberrant T cell reactivity towards lipids
Purpose:
T cells are a critical component of the immune system, however, there remains many facets of T cell function that we do not understand. This project aims to investigate a major aspect of T cell-mediated immunity that is poorly understood, namely, T cell mediated autoimmunity. Specifically, using a multi-disciplinary approach, this project will unearth the molecular correlates of aberrant lipid-mediated that manifests notably in skin-mediated autoimmune disorders in humans.
