Defining heterogeneous co-operativity in melanoma invasion and metastasis
Purpose:
We have identified that different sub-populations of melanoma cells are important in the processes of melanoma growth and spreading. We believe that these different cell types interact with each other to enable this to happen. We will now study these interactions to understand them better, and find a treatment to stop the tumour spreading.
