Purpose:
Falls are a major public health issue globally. Research has shown that reducing fear of falling can decrease one’s fall risk and prevent future falls. To prevent falls, and informed and engaged older adult that values health promotion is needed. Health literacy can be the key to enable older adults to stay active and safe. Therefore, this study aims to understand the impact of health literacy on fall prevention and the relationship between health literacy and fear of falling in older adults.
