Grant Activity:
Somatic genomic alterations as predictors of clinical outcomes and benefit from chemohormonal therapy in metastatic hormone sensitive prostate cancer
Purpose:

This projects seeks to achieve deeper understanding of the driving biology of advanced and lethal prostate cancer by way of profiling the tumor genes of patients with the disease. By doing so, we will be able to identify the gene mutations that occur in aggressive prostate cancer and how they influence response to treatment and clinical outcomes. We may be able to incorporate this information to deliver more informed, ‘precision’ care to patients in the future.
