Purpose:
The Department operates the National Disability Coordination Officer Program ('the Program') which works at the strategic level to assist people with disability to access, and participate in, Higher Education and vocational Education and Training ('Tertiary Education'), and subsequent employment, through a national network of regionally based National Disability Coordination Officers (NDCOs). The Program is designed to identify and overcome the systemic barriers that undermine the opportunities for people with disability in attaining Tertiary Education qualifications and employment.
