Purpose:
Dialysis and kidney transplant patients have substantially higher death rates and lower quality of life than the general population. This project expands the use of existing datasets to look at variation in access and outcomes of treatment between hospitals, outcomes of frequent procedures, the burden of travel and effect of distance from treatment centres, post dialysis fatigue and other factors prioritised by patients.
