NHMRC e-ASIA Joint Research Program 2020
The NHMRC e-ASIA Joint Research Program (JRP) Grant scheme provides funding to successful Australian institutions and researchers wishing to participate in international joint research projects on a multilateral basis in the East Asian region.
NHMRC is considering supporting the 2020 e-ASIA JRP 9th Call topics listed below, which are expected to be publicised by e-ASIA in January 2020:
Health Research:
- Infectious diseases and AMR
- Mental Health
- Cancer
Environment:
- Climate Change Impact on Human Systems
To be eligible to apply, a research project must consist of Australian researchers partnering with research teams from at least two e-Asia Member Organisations.

Participation in the e-ASIA JRP allows Australian researchers to engage with international research teams on issues relevant to the health of people in Australia and the broader East Asian region. Applicants are required to outline the benefit of the research to Australia in their Research Proposal.
